Festa Italiana is Manchester’s beloved Italian festival, created eight years ago by Maurizio Cecco, owner of Salvi’s Neapolitan restaurant - located here in the Corn Exchange. Born from Maurizio’s vision to celebrate Manchester’s vibrant Italian community, this annual celebration has grown into one of the city’s most popular events, attracting over 40,000 visitors last year.
Inspired by Manchester’s rich Italian heritage and traditional Italian street festivals, Festa Italiana brings the community together to celebrate authentic Italian culture through incredible food, drinks, live music, and dancing.
The festival embodies the spirit la dolce vita in the heart of Manchester.
This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, continuing Maurizio’s mission to share authentic Italian culture with Manchester through food, community, and celebration.
