Festa Italiana is the brainchild of Maurizio Cecco, the owner of Salvi's Restaurant here at the Corn Exchange. A well known, family run, authentic neapolitan dream that has been in the city for over 10 years.
6 years ago, Maurizio decided he wanted to bring the large Italian community of Manchester together and he did just that with the first Festa Italiana! Since then, the festival has grown year on year and doesn't show any signs of stopping!
Held right on our doorstep on Cathedral Gardens, this FREE festival is inspired by Manchester's Italian Heritage as well as the traditional festivals of Italy. It is all about community, beautiful food, delectable drinks and live music.
With delicious street food, an artisan Italian food market, bars, cookery demonstrations, masterclasses, live music, kids activities and more.... no wonder 40,000 people attended and enjoyed Festa Italiana in 2022 and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever.
